To celebrate the 124th anniversary of the founding of Sichuan University and the 110th year of West China Medicine, Sichuan University held a series of activities such as the Celebration Conference & Summit Forum of New Medical Development and Medicine Engineering Cooperation, Exhibition of Achievements in the Construction of "Three Centers and One Platform" of Medicine Engineering Cooperation, and the Large-Scale Free Medical Clinic by 1,100 West China Hospital Experts.

In response to the strategy of "Healthy China 2030", Sichuan University takes advantage of its disciplinary strength, talent superiorities and clinical resources to actively carry out the deep integration of "Three Centers and One Platform" and medicine engineering cooperation. As an innovative national enterprise with first-class optical endoscope technology in China, k8凯发国际官网入口 has worked together with West China Hospital, Sichuan University to develop endoscope products with independent intellectual property rights by tackling key problems in cutting-edge technology to meet clinical needs. The research and development results on medicine engineering cooperation made by the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine of West China Hospital and k8凯发国际官网入口 is a gift for the celebration ceremony.

Dean Li Weimin, as the project leader of joint research and development, led the experts in clinical departments to cooperate closely with k8凯发国际官网入口, and carried out the research and development of disposable electronic bronchoscope project and 3D electronic fluorescence thoracoscopic system project. The research and development results on medicine engineering cooperation displayed include the first generation of disposable electronic bronchoscope products, and the prototype of 3D electronic fluorescence thoracoscope system, which appeared in the "Medicine + Manufacturing" section of the "Three Centers and One Platform" Construction Achievement Exhibition. The exhibition at the booth was highly recognized by the school leaders and attracted many professional audiences.

Medicine engineering cooperation is the new trend. The development of high-end medical equipment is the shortcoming of our country at present. West China Hospital takes the lead in setting up a platform for the medicine engineering cooperation with talents and medical resources, and chooses to cooperate with enterprises of innovative ability and core technology to realize the transformation of achievements. This exhibition is not only a staged exhibition of achievements of West China Hospital and k8凯发国际官网入口, but also a driving force for moving forward. It is believed that West China Hospital and k8凯发国际官网入口 will continue to bring forth new ideas, and facilitate the industrialization, marketization and internationalization of the achievements made on medicine engineering cooperation.  Through the dynamic integration of scientific research, production and market, it will contribute to the development of China's domestic endoscopy industry to a higher level.
